Rescue:

Pet Patrol has been working with a woman for many years who was trying to help her neighbours
control the incredible over population of cats on their property. The people who owned
that small farm really didn’t care about the cats too much and the five acres behind the barn
was full of clutter. There were many abandoned trailers, dumpsters, sheds and vehicles creating
a wonderland for cats and an unsafe breeding ground for kittens. the mother cats would
often move their kittens over to the woman’s chicken coop where it was safe from predators.
There were coyote and fox in the area. Over a five year period the woman had spayed or
neutered over fifty cats, rescued hundreds of kittens and rehomed them or brought them to Pet
Patrol. The J kittens will hopefully be some of the last born on the property as there are only
two or three female cats left to be spayed. A work in progress but light at the end of the tunnel

Personality:

Kruzan (Cruise-ZAN) is a very sweet and happy go lucky kitten. He was the first of his litter to
investigate his new surroundings in his foster home, helping him to adjust and become comfortable.
He is, like most kittens, very active and playful. Creating a playground for kittens can
be done easily with cardboard boxes, kitty tunnels and of course the cat tree for that bird’s eye
view. Kruzan is always ready to play Chase, Pounce and Hide & Seek with his siblings and
will cuddle up with them when tuckered out. He is definitely a cuddly and affectionate cat with
his people and has quickly become a favourite in his foster home. Kruzan is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors..
