Rescue:
This pretty white and black girl was a much loved and adored cat by the older gentleman who
originally owned her. He had left a message with his granddaughter a few years back to say
that he had acquired a kitten to keep him company and had named her Emily. She came from
a friend who’s cat had had kittens. He made sure she was to the vet and spayed, had daily
playtime sessions and cuddles too. She proved to be a nice companion for him and although
it was a fairly quiet home she developed into a friendly and affectionate cat. Now fast forward
to recently and the man had fallen ill. When the granddaughter reached out to Pet Patrol he
had been in the hospital and was now in palliative care. He was not going to be able to come
home again. Soon afterwards Emily came into Pet Patrol care, ready to find a forever home
Personality:
Emily is described as a cat who loves her people. Although she has not lived in a busy house
with children and other pets she is well socialized and very good when company comes over.
She will greet them at the door, rub up against their legs and purr contently. She is sweet,
gentle and likes to be with her person. Just a nice little cat who will adore you as much you
adore her. Emily is also the neighbourhood watch cat, sitting on the window ledge wanting to
know who is coming and going, what the birds and squirrels are doing at the feeding stations
etc. A warm sunbeam streaming through the window onto the carpet is never missed. Emily is
ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep
her safely indoors
