Rescue:
Georgie and Blondie are sweet boys who have had a pretty rough life so far. They were
owned by an older woman who had a mother cat, her litter of kittens and an elderly dog as
well. It was a financially deprived home, there wasn’t much to go around and the pets never
went to the vet. At one point she turned over the mother cat and kittens to another cat rescue
organization which guided her in the right direction to get the boys neutered and vaccinated.
Fast forward four months and the same rescue received a call from the neighbour about this
lady. Animal control had been into the older woman’s apartment, she had vacated without
taking any of her nonessential belongs. She had also abandoned Georgie and Blondie and
the dog. How sad. The neighbour took in the boys but was highly allergic and unable to keep
them. Soon they were on their way to Pet Patrol and a stable life.
Personality:
Georgie and Blondie and very sweet boys who love their people and are happy to be pet and
brushed. We don’t know much about their daily routines or favourite things to do, but know that
their personalities are people oriented and that they are quite bonded. They were concerned
when they came into Pet Patrol care initially, but soon relaxed and began to venture out and
seek attention. Like most cats they like catnip and have been found rolling around on the floor
with a favourite nip scented mouse toy. Lovely to see them happy and silly. Georgie and
Blondie are ready to be adopted into their forever home together. One that will welcome them
into the family and keep them safely indoors
