Rescue:
Poor Aslan. He has had four different homes so far in his short life. He was originally
adopted from the city shelter by a woman who already had seven cats. Being a kitten, the
other cats were not happy with this energetic cutie running around and would torment him.
Seeing his sweet nature changing to being frightened he was given to a couple and lived
there happily until they suddenly had to move to another country, very far away. He
couldn’t go with them. He was taken in by a family member who had another cat, and by
this time Aslan was not interested in living with a buddy and he could not adjust. He was
then passed on to another woman, who also had cats, was on social assistance and could
barely afford the felines she had. The woman felt bad for Aslan and wanted to help, but it
did not work out well there either and she started looking for a suitable home for him, finally
calling Pet Patrol. Soon Aslan was in our care and ready for his forever home.
Personality:
Aslan is described as a friendly and affectionate boy who likes to cuddle up with you.
Whether it is on the couch or bed, he is right there. He is very good company, greets you
at the door and watches you from the window as you leave for the day. He is an orange
tabby; and they generally have kind and loving personalities and make wonderful companions
for people of all ages. Aslan also likes to play with the plastic springs and wand toys.
The kitty climber is a favourite place to perch, looking at the world outside, or using the
scratching post. Aslan is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome
him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
