Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a call from a smaller cat rescue organization that we work with on a regular
basis. In their rural community there was a woman who owned five cats, all female and
none were spayed. She was looking to find new homes for them. Some people have gotten
to the point, during this pandemic with Covid, that they can hardly keep a roof over their heads
or food on the table, and decisions had to be made. That was the situation of Luna, Lucy and
Happy’s original owner, a single parent who had been laid off three times in the past year.
Money was very tight. These three kitties came into Pet Patrol care having been well loved by
their family and showed us friendly and affectionate personalities. They settled into their foster
home successfully and are now ready to be adopted.
Personality:
Luna and Lilly displayed their loving personalities right away. Once in Pet Patrol care they
showed us that they just wanted to be with people, to be pet and cuddled. They like to know
who is in the house; will greet you at the door and follow you around to see what is going on.
They are very interactive and affectionate, creating a loving environment and are good company
at bed time or on the couch. They are also very bonded to each other. Never too far
apart, they share their toys, food dishes, bed and window perch. They can be found curled up
in comfy spots, or stretching out in a shared sunbeam, always enjoying the company of the
other. Luna and Lilly would like to be adopted into a forever home together. One that will
welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
