Rescue:
Bronson was found in a residential neighbourhood; he was easy to spot with his black fur
against the bright white snow. He was taking advantage of food and water that were
placed in a garage for another cat. The family that lives there had noticed a young grey
kitten and a black cat, roaming the street and passing their home frequently. They set up a
humane trap and within days rescued the little cat first and then Bronson, assuming he
was the buddy cat to the kitten. But no. Bronson arrived already neutered and micro
chipped, and in tracing the chip number it was discovered he was part of a Trap Neuter
Release program. This is where rescue organizations have the truly feral cats neutered,
vaccinated and micro chipped and released back into the area they are used to, providing
there is shelter and food provided. Being in Pet Patrol care is fine with the other rescue as
they know he will be cared for.
Personality:
Bronson is a special boy who will be shy at first but once you gain his trust, he shows you
what a cuddle bug he is. He is the ultimate lap cat and headbutting his foster parents while
giving them kitty kisses. He is a sweet boy who warms up to any cat and is quick to give
new friends a good grooming. He makes little chirping sounds to let you know he’s excited
to see you. He likes his people so much that he will dart back and forth between his foster
parents laps and then to the food bowl for quick bites. Bronson is playful as well with cat
toys and switches to his hunter mode to chase after anything that rolls, bounces or moves
quickly (the illusive red dot of the laser light). Bronson is ready to be adopted into a quiet
forever home. One where he will be welcomed into the family and kept safely indoors.
