Rescue:

Oscar is a lovely cat who was adopted from the city shelter as a kitten, but unfortunately could
not live his entire life with his original family. Life had changed so drastically from the effects of
Covid; creating loss of wages, sometimes loss of home and now going into the second year
of this medical crisis around the world. The couple decided they no longer were able to afford
many things, and that included this sweet kitty. We didn’t get much more of a reason in regards
to why they were relinquishing custody of Oscar. We knew he was healthy, friendly, and
a happy cat, though. After the man dropped him off to the sanctuary and signed the custody
release forms, he left a message for his partner that simply said: Done!
