Rescue:
Just outside of the city limits are several small towns. The communities are quiet, friendly, and
everyone knows everyone. One day this little cat showed up at the tidy country public school.
This was Truman. He was allowing the children to pet and pick him up, he didn’t seem to be
worried about it in the least. He was trying to follow the children into the school as well, but
unfortunately was not allowed. One of the moms met her children at school at the end of the
day, and met Truman as well. As they were walking home he followed them the entire way.
Being someone who loves cats she could not turn her back on him and let him come into the
house. He was kept safely separate from her other cats and dog until she found a rescue
organization to take him. That is when this lovely boy came into our care.
Personality:
No original owner was found for this nice cat. Truman has shown us nothing but kindness and
friendliness, with purrs and kneading paws. It is unusual for a cat of this nice nature to be
outside lost and abandoned, but it does happen. Truman is quite adaptable to change and
has done well in the sanctuary. He has quite a playful personality, loves all kinds of toys and
kitty activies including cat tunnels and the climbers. He is now ready to be adopted into his
forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
