Adam & Glenys

Adam & Glenys

Rescue:

Glenys and Adam were rescued from two different places but have quickly become best
friends. Glenys’ rescue story: One of Pet Patrol’s volunteers, who has only been with us
for about six months, had noticed a nice little brown tabby cat coming around his home.
She was very, very hungry and looking pretty rough from living outside. Not wanting her to
become injured or otherwise hurt, a humane trap was set out and soon she was brought
into Pet Patrol care. Adam’s rescue story: A man who lives in a small village has a drive
shed with cars etc. in it, and dogs that help patrol the property. One day as soon as the
door to the shed was opened the dogs took chase and out of the corner of his eye the man
could see it was a small cat. The dogs cornered the poor thing and the man quickly got a
carrier for the cat which he scrambled right into. Contacting his long-time friend, a volunteer
for Pet Patrol, he soon brought little Adam to Pet Patrol. This poor kitten was terrified

Personality:

Adam is a lovely little cat now and has found a BFF with Glenys. They are absolutely adorable
together, often found curled up in their ‘cave,’ the cubby portion of the cat tree, or on
the top of the cat tree; especially when the wood stove is burning. They love each other so
much even when wrestling, play fighting and chasing each other all over the house. Both
love to play with string toys, ribbon and, balls of yarn. Adam is the more adventurous one
of the two, less shy but still skittish, left over from his days as a stray. Glenys loves to be
petted and purrs away while you do so. She will push her head into your hand if you stop
petting her, asking for more attention. At bedtime she is a snuggler, often preferring to
share your pillow, resting her head on your shoulder or pushing her body beside
your cheek. Neither kitten will come up for pets on their own yet, but expect that will come
in time. Adam and Glenys are ready to be adopted into their forever home together. One
that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
