Rescue:
J.J. and his feline family were born on a property that houses and sells recreational vehicles.
The two ladies that manage the office are sisters and have looked after these cats for
many years. They are quite passionate about them and made sure that they are fed twice
daily, even on their days off. Shelters were provided for the cats, year round, that were insulated
and had straw in them to keep the cats warm and dry. The owners of the company
are retiring and the property has been sold and will be redeveloped, and the sisters wondered
what will happen to the cats? A visiting couple took note of the situation and reached
out to Pet Patrol to see if we would be able to help. They offered to rescue the cats and
each day they brought in one or two cats until they were all safely in our care. Although the
kitties were not sure of the new people, they are petable and not aggressive. It won’t take
long for them to be socialized as the sisters had earned their trust.
Personality:
JJ and his brother Jett are in the same foster home and came from the same colony. They
have become best buddies and it would be nice for them to be adopted together. JJ is a
little shy, but outgoing and very playful. He is up for being pet and have a nice back massage
and ear rub. His brother Jett is a pretty laid back cat and more reserved than JJ so
they balance each other out well. Jett is more the observer if JJ is front row to the action.
They are curious by nature and love sitting by the window to see what is going on outside.
More often than not they are cuddled up together in some of the oddest places like the
bathroom sink. Both are very gentle cats and enjoy the company of their people. JJ and Jett
are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family
and keep them safely indoors
