Rescue:

Owen is such a big lovely handsome boy. He had been living on a full functioning farm, but
was unable to stay there any longer. The owners had passed away and their son was moving
back onto the property but he didn’t realize there were so many cats living there. It was
his intention to rent out the barn for vehicles and storage, and the livestock had all been sold
off already. Cows and horses produce heat which helps the smaller animals in the barn to
stay warm in the winter time, now there wouldn’t be any such thing. Owen was relinquished
to Pet Patrol and has adjusted very well.

Personality:

Owen is a very loving affectionate cat. He is easy to pick up and carry around, and is happy
to be with his people and seeing what you’re doing. Being in the house has been a bit of a
mystery to him but he has learned very quickly what the washer and dryer are, and not to
go near the stove. He’s a handsome cat and is good with other cats having lived as part of a
colony. It just comes as second nature to him to be playing and cuddling with another kitty.
Owen has learned about toys and that cardboard boxes are a great thing. He is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors.
