Rescue:
Sweet Nata was originally from the local city shelter. She was very timid and unsure of what
was going on. She’d never been in this situation before. She was eventually adopted by a
young couple and she actually did quite well with them. Coming to them, jumping up on their
laps and being comfortable. She lived with them for about a year and a half and they were
very happy with her. She was well behaved and quiet and polite…and then they had a baby.
It wasn’t working well for Nata, the change in routine and the unexpected squeals from the
baby upset her. She hid all the time. With sadness they chose to rehome her but didn’t have
any luck. They were not sure if the people wanting her would give her the time and patience
that she needed. She came to Pet Patrol and has done pretty well. She likes her cozy bed
and she’s happy and content to be with the other cats.
Personality:
Nata is a dear little cat who loves her people but unfortunately her shyness has held her
back from being adopted. She does take a long time to adapt to new environments but with
time and patience she does quite well. It is obvious that she would do much better in a very
quiet home that is routine and with people who will love her unconditionally. She is gentle,
sweet natured, and we have never heard her hiss, growl or lift a paw towards people. She
is adorable. Nata can be picked up and cuddled and held but she still remains a timid cat.
Hopefully she will find people who understand her abilities and inabilities. A forever home
that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors
