Rescue:

Jingles suddenly showed up one day at the local stockyards. You couldn’t miss him as he
was crying over and over again. When the woman who eventually rescued him went to
investigate he came out from under a transport truck. This poor boy was wet, dirty and
looking lost and confused. He was alone and very hungry. He was not too sure about
getting close to a human but definitely was not part of the feral colony that she feeds there.
He seemed to be crying for help, but was too frightened to go to people for the attention.
The woman called one of our volunteers to see if she could help with rescuing him by humane
trap, and if he could then come into Pet Patrol care. Once the trap was set up, and
baited with smelly canned food, he went into it on the second try. Then he was on his way
to the sanctuary. Good work! His meowing was so sad to listen to, but not a peep out of
him once he was inside, warm, safe, well fed and happy.

Personality:

Jingles has turned out to be a very nice boy. He is friendly and affectionate, loves to be pet,
brushed and even a nice tummy rub. He has really shown us how appreciative he is to be
rescued, to be brought in from the cold and have the luxuries of a home. Jingles was so
filthy when he arrived that he was given a sink shower, but still has some staining on his fur,
which may take some time to grow out. Being very laid back and accepting of things, Jingles
will readily greet you at the door and is happy to be with his people. He is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors
