ADOPTION PROFILE

Mya

Mya

Mya

Rescue:

Mya has beautiful tortoise shell markings and a pretty little face. She was surrendered by
an older lady who lives alone in a low income complex. She was born there, and the woman
says she loves the cats and cares for them, but unfortunately in reality she is a collector of
cats. Anyone who doesn’t want their cat any more, or poor strays on the street, all have a
place in her home. But none of them receive medical care, or are spayed or neutered and
her apartment is small, very cluttered and dirty. There are often thirty or more cats in there.
Being of an older age the woman could not keep up with the cleaning and due to the smell

was threatened by the landlord that she must find other places for them. She reached out
to cat rescue organizations and emptied out the house, only to slowly start bringing in cats
all over again shortly thereafter. Luckily Mya was brought to Pet Patrol and there will be
more to follow

Personality:

This pretty torti has proven to be such a lovely and grateful cat. She has made herself at
home with her foster family and really enjoying the life of luxury. From rags to riches for
sure. She explored the entire house and like most torti cats, took it all in quickly. She is
intelligent, observant, calm and playful as well. Mya is good company for her people as
well and likes to be with them, on their lap, on the bed and watching a good program on TV.
She is a happy girl and ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome
her into the family and keep her safely indoors
