Rescue:

Pet Patrol received the following email: Hello! I am sending a message in regards to sweet
“Yana” who needs a loving home. About two months ago my husband was driving along the
highway and someone tossed a kitten out the window of the car in front. He pulled over and
picked her up and brought her home to make sure she was okay. Aside from some dried
poop on her leg that we carefully removed and let heal, she thankfully, seemed fine. We can
tell she had trauma issues when we first got her. She was prone to swatting at any sudden
movements. She has gotten better with that. Unfortunately, we cannot keep her as she is
extremely uncomfortable around our two small children. One on one with an adult she is
affectionate and sweet. We feel she would do best in a home without young children and
probably without other pets.

Personality:

Yana has grown more comfortable in her rescue home and started giving them face rubs
with her head. Like most kittens she loves playing with string and chasing balls and toys
around. Often found on the window sill viewing the world and watching the neighbourhood
routine, she is keen on what the birds are doing at the feeder as well. Yana is a loving cat
with her people though and in a home as an only cat her sweet personality will shine
through. She is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into
the family and keep her safely indoors.
