Rescue:

Franklin is a handsome and well-proportioned orange and white boy. He has always been
living in a home and got along well with the other three cats in there. Unfortunately, the
woman has some mobility disabilities and is unable to keep the cats indoors when they are
determined to get out. Then one day Frankie scooted out the door and was gone for a day
or two. When he came back he was just not right. He was very sick with vomiting, diarrhea,
lethargic and was hiding a lot. He was taken to the vet and a lot of diagnostics were done
but nothing significant could be found and eventually he overcame this. The other resident
cats however would not except him anymore. They would pick on him and attack him savagely
requiring several vet visits to patch up wounds. His life was miserable and his owner
knew it would be better for him to be rehomed. He is a much happier cat now.

Personality:

Franklin loves jumping up on anything. He’s not afraid to attempt an impossible jump either.
He is quite inquisitive and loves to explore every room, especially closets, cupboards and
shelves. One day he jumped into the bath tub and started chasing his tail..hilarious. Although
he doesn’t particularly like to be picked up, that will come with time and patience, but
he is very social. We have noticed that he doesn’t respond well to his name but does
comes running when you call kitty kitty. Because of his past experience to being bullied by
the other resident cats, he is at his most comfortable when he is off the floor. Franklin is
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safely indoors.
