Rescue:
Ladybug and her siblings (Leif, Linden and Lyric) were owned by an elderly man who was
able to remain in his own home with the help of his niece. He had a building in the back of
his property that housed a few cats, but being unaltered, they bred freely. Things were
getting out of control, but they had begun the process of spaying and neutering the older
cats, and finding homes for the kittens. They reached out to Pet Patrol for further assistance.
From their rescuer: These four kittens were playing with the community of cats that
we care for here at our home. There are generations of cats and they are very feline family
oriented. All the mothers cared for all of the kittens, that’s what made this colony special.
They were bonded and all got along very well. They ate, slept, played and lived with seven
older cats. I already miss them. Thank you so very much for your service to our community
and the great work you do for these kittens and cats.
Personality:
Ladybug is an adorable little cat, who is friendly and affectionate, loves her people and is
quite a little lap cat too. She would be fine with other accepting resident cats as she has
always lived in a colony of many, which means she is very comfortable with them. She is
playful and fun loving, likes to chase toys that bounce and dangling strings as well. Shoe
laces are a favourite. She is all round very gentle and and lovable girl. Ladybug is ready to
be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her
safely indoors
