Rescue:

Jag is a pretty interesting boy. A woman who lives in a small village and has a feeding station
on her front porch saw Jag appear as a young male probably 8 to 9 months old. As
she was trying to rescue some of the other cats he inadvertently went into the humane trap
and onto Pet Patrol. This handsome boy was not happy. Nightly he would trash his cage and
hissed and growled at everyone. It was very obvious that he was extremely wild and did not
want any part of this indoor living. Once neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped he was
released a week later, in the summer, right from the same front porch. He knew exactly
where he was. Often cats will return a few days/weeks later, but Jag disappeared for five
months. When he did return, he was meowing at her door for her to come out and feed
him! He was rubbing up against her legs and jumping up to bunt her hand to pet him. She
was stunned. She put the humane trap out for him again and he pretty much walked right in
and lay down, ready to be rescued off the streets. Totally different cat upon this return and
we knew it was him because of his microchip. May wonders never cease.

Personality:

Jag is an awesome cat. Tall, long, muscular (like a Jaguar) and affectionate. In his foster
home he needed to learn things about the house like the washer and dryer, countertops,
showers and swinging fridge doors. But he caught on very quickly. Being a cat from the
street and living by his wits he could figure things out very fast. Jag is enjoying every minute
of the comforts of home and is quite happy to be inside. He is now ready to be adopted into
his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
