Rescue:

Although Dior and Esther came from separate locations they have become fast friends. Dior
is a lovely black kitty who was found aimlessly roaming the country side. She was spotted
sitting at the edge of the gravel sideroad by someone one who was hurrying home. The
woman stopped and Dior came running to her, she was easily picked up and taken to her
rescue home. She was allowed to be an indoor/outdoor cat and one day Dior disappeared
and the woman was wishing she had just kept her in the house. Four months later the
neighbor called to say she found Dior sitting in her van, as if she was waiting to be taken
home. Esther was was rescued from a farm where they make their living the old fashioned
way, travel by horse and buggy and are self sufficient. The woman there had a soft spot for
calicos, especially little Esther. But not being spayed, she became known as a breeding
machine, and they just could not keep up with finding homes for the number of kittens she
produced. In 2020 alone she had twelve babies. The woman decided to give Esther the
chance for a family home and eventually she was brought to Pet Patrol when the smaller
rescue was at capacity. There Esther met Dior and they are BFF

Personality:

Both Dior and Esther are super friendly and affectionate. They are lap cats and will sit with
you all day, every day. They purr up a storm and will rub up against you for love and affection,
with a lovely little kitty smile on their faces. It has been quite interesting watching them
explore the house and the many toys as well. They are fun loving and easily make themselves
at home. Dior and Esther are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will
welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
