Rescue:

Yohan were brought into Pet Patrol care by a woman who has been looking after cats that
wander onto her property for many years. She lives kitty corner to a small farm, 5 acres,
that is mostly house, horse stable and the rest is just junk. There are broken down trailers,
sheds, cars, and wooden skids piled up all over the property. The owners have paid no
attention to the cats and they have been breeding freely, but they’ve also been very thin,
malnourished, and sick. The females would have their kittens in this woman’s empty chicken
coop where it was safe. She would then socialize them and find them homes. The farm has
since been sold and the new owners are much better about caring for the cats and cleaning
up the property. One young girl who works there keeps an eye out for any new kittens or
injured cats and one day found Yohan. It was obvious that he was not well and not in good
shape at all. Quickly he was brought into Pet Patrol care and the next day taken to the vet
where he was given fluids and medication. He has thrived since then.

Personality:

Yohan is a survivor. He is the only kitten that survived from his litter and he has done well.
He is a very playful and happy go lucky kitten who has beat the odds. He likes to run
around and play with the other cats and kittens in the sanctuary, creating games of Pounce,
Chase and Hide and Seek. A toy mouse and wand toy are favorites, the elusive red dot is a
mystery and a cardboard box is full of imagination. It can be a place to play or nap, to jump
in and out of or just rest and watch the other cats. Yohan is a wonderful little kitten ready to
be adopted into his forever home. One at will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors.
