Rescue:
Some how this pretty orange girl ended up on the side of a country road. It was a very hot
and dry summer and she didn’t go very far. Some people suspected that she was abandoned
by her owners and that she was waiting for them to return. No one will really know
for sure, but she wasn’t leaving the area. She saw people looking at her from inside their
cars pointing fingers and driving off again. Each time she would watch the car go away,
and the emptiness felt in her heart got worse. Autumn was most definitely a house cat and
couldn’t fend for herself outside. A woman who lives in the small town nearby had finally
been told about Autumn after she had been walking up and down the gravel road for three
weeks. Known as the local cat lady, she was upset that no one told her sooner and immediately
went out and rescued this little cat. She picked her up and put her in a carrier and
off to the Pet Patrol sanctuary. She has totally recovered from her ordeal and is now a
happy and healthy girl
Personality:
What a dear little cat Autumn is. She is very affectionate, loves a good cuddle or just to
snooze on your lap. She is also quite chatty, especially in the morning when she wants her
breakfast. In the beginning she didn’t know what to do with the toys she was given. But she
soon learnt what fun they could be, the catnip mice are a favourite. She gets on well with
the other cats in her foster home and would like a buddy in her forever home. Autumn is
ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that would welcome her into the family
and keep her safely indoors.
