Rescue:

Squeaky and her sister were adopted together by a young man, who struggles with life at
times, but is independent and able to live on his own. He has raised these two cats strictly
indoors and in a quiet home, has enjoyed their company greatly, watching them grow up.
The man’s mother took sick and had to go into a care facility, she was quite worried about
her dog and insisted her son take it to his home. Even though the woman was a senior, her
dog was quite young and active, but also untrained. As would happen, the dog chased the
cats and the cats would hide and refuse to come out. Eventually one of the cats decided
she wasn’t going to run away from the dog anymore, and stood her ground. The dog received
many swift scratches on his nose but still insisted on chasing them. Things were just
not working out. As much as he tried to teach the dog to sit and stay, the energy between
the animals was explosive. With a heavy heart he had to re home his girls and even
though he knew Pet Patrol would do their best to find a lovely home for them, he will miss
them greatly. (Squeaky and Daisey are not showing the affection towards each other as
predicted, and we are seeking individual homes for them.)

Personality:

Squeaky is a lovebug and adores the attention. She will approach you on her own accord
and lean her whole body weight into you for face scratches and ear rubs. She can never
have enough. She enjoys sitting and watching out the window, and observing you go about
your day, interested in what you do. Squeaky loves playing with her ball toys and cozying
up on any blanket she can find. She earned her name because of her delightful mew and
she has a loud purr showing her contentment. Squeaky is ready to be adopted into her
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
