Rescue:

Cousecous and Jazzy came from separate rescue situations but became fast, inseparable
friends. Our little black and white kitten, Couscous came from a co-worker of one of Pet
Patrol’s volunteers. She and her husband owned a farm and they have at least 25 cats that
are all black and white. One day she heard a tiny kitten crying. while she was feeding the
chickens, and turned to look around and there she was, little Couscous. She was sitting on the
cold and damp cement floor screaming at the lady to pick her up, which she readily did. Wee
Jazzy also came from a country property where the neighbours cats breed freely. There are
several acres of abandoned trailers, sheds, cars and junk, for the cats to find shelter out of the
elements, but little food and no people attention. The pregnant cats migrate to the neighbours
yard and to a woman’s chicken coop. There are no chickens in there any more, just cats that
she feeds, raises the kittens and finds homes for or brings to Pet Patrol.

Personality:

Jazzy can be shy at first but when she becomes comfortable she loves to come over and sit on
your lap. She also enjoys having her ears scratched and a full body massage. She is the perfect
“office coworker” if you’re working from home, often helping with computer work by sitting
on your lap and following the mouse cursor. She will steal your seat if you get up off your chair
so be prepared to share. Jazzy loves playing with her sister CousCous, running through the
cat tunnel together, chasing each other and toys as well. They nap together, groom each other
and seek each other out when not within sight. CousCous is an adventurous and playful cat
who likes to climb furniture and look out the window. She is definitely not shy and will come for
pets, is very cuddly and chatty too. She doesn’t like to be separated from Jazzy and she will
meow to find her. CousCous enjoys the family dog and cat at her foster family home and will
play with them. Jazzy and CousCous would do well in a home with adult children where they
could get a lot of love and attention. A home that will welcome them into the family and keep
them safely indoors.
