Rescue:

Pet Patrol was notified of a gas station that was very much on the edge of town. It’s an
appreciated necessity as anyone driving in the country, leaving the city, and running low on
gas appreciates. There are a few cats that hang around there and the staff keep watch on
them, but then one day they noticed there were a couple of kittens. This is Eva and Elio. The
staff were asked to set up a feeding station and keep watch to see exactly how many kittens
there were. A humane trap was set up and the first to be rescued was little Eva. She
was terrified. Two days later Elio was rescued, he is a big boy, probably two years old but
also friendly. As soon as he joined Eva in the room she relaxed. We saw what a wonderful
and sweet cat she is, and she just needed his confidence.

Personality:

What a nice, big, lovable boy Elio is. He is very good with the kittens and is fine with
other cats as well. He has a stocky build and is quite gentle and laid back. This handsome
boy is also playful and likes to bat at toys that dangle like the wand toy with a feather on the
end or chase the laser pen light. But of course, cat nip toys are the best. Easy to pet and
pick up, Elio has shown us what a nice boy he is and has fit into the sanctuary without incidence.
He is a good cat and good company. Elio is ready to be adopted into his forever
home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
