Rescue:

Vienna was noticed wandering around the down town streets of a town where there is a lot of traffic on the main road, and big trucks too. Some of the business owners had been commenting on what a nice cat she was, but no one would take responsibility for her.  Day after day she would wander up and down the back alley, searching for shelter from the rain, wind and cold, then trying to find food.  She had to time it right for the shop keepers to see her, and hopefully they would share some food with her.   Fearing that she may get hurt someone finally called an acquaintance who volunteers with a cat rescue and is connected with Pet Patrol. She offered to take Vienna in. It was not difficult at all.  As soon as she arrived Vienna was within sight and she bounded towards the woman eager for attention.  She was easily put in the carrier and on to safety.

Personality:

She has proven to be an amazing cat. Vienna makes friends with everyone. She has no fear and just thinks people are the best thing ever. She will approach you for attention and love and give you the same in return. She’s a lap cat, she’s a cuddler, and she fits right in wherever she goes. How this wonderful friendly cat was living on the street and did not develop fear or become prey is amazing. Vienna is now ready to be adopted into her forever home, one that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
