Aubree

Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a phone call from a smaller cat rescue organization. They have been
working with a woman over the last couple of years in regard to abandoned cats showing
up on her farm property. She really didn’t want a lot of cats and knowing that if they weren’t
fixed, they would breed uncontrollably, she reached out. But the smaller rescue was not
able to take in the four cats that the woman wanted to release custody of right away. Her
farm was fairly sizable, there are cattle in the barn and a number of chickens. The kittens
she said just showed up one day. They were quite small, and she had no idea where they
came from. A mother cat was never seen and could have gone unseen in the vast hayloft.
Did someone dump them in the barn or were they born there? She raised the kittens
and they became quite friendly and affectionate. In the morning they would run up to the
house to be fed and dance around her feet. They are good with her lab dog and chasing
down dried leaves as they danced across the driveway. This is the rescue story for Aubree
and her BFF Alfalfa. They are now happily living indoors in their foster homes and ready for
adoption.

Personality:

Aubrey is a very sweet girl. it doesn’t take her long to warm up to new people. She is definitely
a cuddle bug, and has no problem spending a few hours in your lap. She is a very
tolerant kitten but is startled by loud noises. She loves having a good vantage point
whether it is on top of the desk or on the cat tree. She likes toys that emulate stalking prey
as well as the ball in track toys. She is quite attached to her BFF Alfalfa, and they seek
each other out for play time and cuddles. As she gains confidence and trust in her surroundings,
she would do well in a family home that will give her lots of cuddles and attention.
Aubree and Alfalfa are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will
welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors
