Rescue:
There is a woman who lives in a small village, who has been taking in cats from her neighbours
property for years. They wander over to her empty chicken coop to safely have their
kittens. From there she rescues the moms and babies, has them spayed/neutered and finds
them homes or brings them to Pet Patrol. The farm has always been in pretty rough shape
but is now doing better under new ownership. The cats are now looked after, and most are
fixed and not producing unwanted kittens anymore. When the woman felt everything was
under control, she received a call from the neighbour across the road. This is a traditional
farm where things are done the old fashioned way, they dress mostly the same and farming
is their way of making a living. He said that he had just too many cats on the property and
would she be interested in helping rehome them. He introduced her to three lovely tuxedo
boys, O’Shea, O’Malley and O’Riley. They have been petted and handled by the people on
the farm. Although initially concerned about the new environment at Pet Patrol, being completely
different from what they were raised in, they did adapt quickly. A good ear rub, head
scratch and body massage put them at ease, and they were playing with the new toys with
interest. Within the week they were taken to the vet and were neutered and received their
vaccinations. The O boys are very nice cats.
Personality:
O Reilly is a active boy. He loves to run in and out of the kitty tunnel chasing after his brother
O Malley. They are quite bonded to each other. He will run and climb to catch the laser
light. He is happy to be pet under his chin and behind his ears. Preferring an adult home
O’Reilly is still learning to be held, something that will come with time. O’Reilly is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors
