Rescue:
Pet Patrol received an email from a family about one of their pets, a cat named Scotia. She
is a beautiful cat who can no longer stay with her adoptive family for a variety of reasons,
and it is not an easy decision for them. Here is her story told by her people: “It saddens
me to have to let her go, but unfortunately, with our busy schedules and a mobile, high
energy toddler, she isn’t getting the attention she needs and deserves. I was told she is a
purebred Bengal cat when we bought her, but as she got older, I quickly realized she may
have been bred with a domestic shorthair. Nonetheless, she is a beautiful gal with her spotted
fur and fierce green eyes. She is a petite, sweet cat, with an energetic personality.”
Like most Bengal cats, and cross breeds, they do require attention and play time every day.
They are routine oriented and appreciate their time with their people and interactive activities
to help with their energy and fitness.
Personality:
Scotia has amazing emerald green eyes that will draw you in and you will not hesitate to pet
her and give her a nice scratch behind the ear. She is playful like a kitten but has the maturity
and wisdom of an adult cat. She likes to run, jump and climb, and is quite inquisitive.
She needs a quieter home environment with no children but with adults who will appreciate
her bright personality and need for love and attention. She will thrive with someone who can
be her BFF and consider her part of the family. She can be vocal at times, especially when
she wants treats and is not only good company but a nice snuggle bunny at bed time. Scotia
is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and
keep her safely indoors
