Rescue:
In a small village news travels fast. There is a family who lives at the bottom of the hill who
said they had found a kitten. It wasn’t well, had a cold, but they were trying to sell it. In this
day and age with our communities being shut down due to the corona virus people are
looking for cats and kittens to keep them company at home. Trying to sell a sick kitten is
not going to work. One of our volunteers knew a relative of this family and approach them
fearing that the cat might need medical attention, and knowing it would not receive it from
this family. During her visit with them they brought out the little cat. This was Wallace.
Wallace was not a kitten. Wallace was nine months old and he had a bit of a cold. The
family handed him over to our volunteer and this handsome boy came into Pet Patrol care
and made himself very much at home. He was so grateful to have a roof over his head
climate controlled environment soft beds and medication to make him feel better. He is now
ready to find his family.
Personality:
What a wonderful cat. We are puzzled as to how he got out to a small village, a decent
drive from the city. It was obvious that he had been raised in a family with children, as he is
very easy to pick up and carry around. Wallace was not a barn cat. He migrates to people
who come to visit and readily jumps on your lap and curls up. He is a lovely cat. Playful,
energetic, easy-going and excepting of his new environment. Wallace is now available and
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safely indoors
