ADOPTION PROFILE

Peanut

Peanut

Peanut

Rescue:

Peanut’s mother Edna, a very sweet and petite little cat was found living in a ditch along the
road. It is unknown if she was abandoned there or if this was as far as her legs could carry
her. But luckily someone saw her. Her champagne coloured coat stood out from the long
green grass, she had very little shelter and no food. The kind person who found her had to
set up a humane trap to rescue her because she was so frightened, but quickly she went in
after the food. She was immediately brought into a safe environment to be cared for. Soon
after she gave birth to six kittens and raised them in this home, and once weaned they were
adopted into homes by her rescuer. From there Edna was moved to a small cat rescue
organization where there were six new born orphans (Peanut was one of them) and Edna
happily took them on as her own. She has been a very wonderful and consistent mamma
cat to all these babies.

Personality:

Peanut and his siblings are all very active, adventurous and love to play with each other and
human friends. You’ll often find them playing around with each other or finding a toy and
doing their own thing, joining in when a game of Indy 500 starts around the house. They are
quick to befriend new people and are quite social. It doesn’t take long for them to warm up
to visitors and all three of them love looking for a nice lap to hang out on. Peanut is the little
explorer of the litter, always wanting to get into every nook and cranny, and not afraid of
new situations. He is a fun loving and outgoing boy and plays nicely with his sisters as well.
He is ready to be adopted into his forever home with a playmate. One that will welcome
him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
