Rescue:
Clair’s mother Candy is a loveable cat. She is very sweet and affectionate, such a good
mother. When she was rescued, we were told she was seven years old. She had had many,
many litters of kittens. Her six babies that came into Pet Patrol were first discovered in a little
nest that was boxed in by bales of hay and the cement wall of the barn. The kittens were on
straw. As soon as they heard people’s voices, they screamed out for help. They were very
malnourished because Candy didn’t have enough milk for them. Seeing how thin she was it was
obvious that she needed to be brought into our care. Her kittens had to be bottle-fed three
times a day for quite a few weeks just to help them gain their weight otherwise they would
have perished. We are happy to have helped this little feline family along the way to their
new homes.
Personality:
Clair and her siblings have developed into wonderful, chunky and fun loving kittens. You would
never know they were the same tiny waifs, screaming for food in a dirty and straw riddled
environment. They are now happy, healthy and adorable kittens. Clair is always cuddled up
with the rest of her litter. She adores her siblings and loves her people as well. She likes a
good romp around the house, chasing after a toy or feather fluttering across the floor. She is
very entertaining and sweet. Clair is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will
welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
