Rescue:

Alfie and his sister Apple were lucky. They were born in a family home with six children and
a lot of cats. The young daughter in the family was trying to take care of all of the cats on
her own; and her father would not put out the money to have them fixed. She tried to find
them homes and by now had exhausted her connections. It was all on her. If she wanted
the cats, she had to do everything. This was the third litter this year from one of the mother
cats, and she usually had seven or eight kittens at a time. Alphie and Apple were from this
litter and they were all brought into Pet Patrol care. The mother cat will be spayed as soon
as the orphan kittens she is raising, are weaned. Although it was difficult for the young girl
to give up the cats, she knew that she could no longer look after them all.

Personality:

Alphie is a very cute little kitty who is extremely energetic. It has been entertaining to
watch him seek out things, people and his sister Apple to engage in playtime. He is very
curious and will jump in any basket that’s laying around and sit in it as if he has just discovered
the best seat in the house. He is cuddly and affectionate, likes to snuggle in and fall
gently asleep on you, stretched out and stealing the blankets. Adorable. Alphie is ready to
be adopted into a forever home with a playmate, hopefully with his sister Apple. One that
will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors
