Tomas

Rescue:

Thomas is such a nice boy and we don’t know where he originally came from, but he found
himself alone and trying to survive outside. For a cat who has lived their life indoors, with
food and water readily available, climate controlled environment and a routine with their
people, it is heart wrenching for them to be struggling on the street. Sometimes good people
will recognize a cat that needs attention and rescue it, other people just ignore it, or it is
not a convenient time for them to help. Thomas straight up asked for help. He was noticed
in someone’s back yard. When approached he scooted off and hid in the bushes, but
undeterred the family took their time to entice him out, with food and eventually petting him.
After that Thomas wanted in the house badly and tried every day to invite himself in by
asking and pawing at the patio door. The family hesitated because they were not sure how
their own cats would adjust to him, so they left his outside, finally relenting when the nights
got colder. Thomas did fine inside, the other cats were concerned, but all did well over all.
Unable to keep this handsome boy themselves, they reached out to Pet Patrol for help in
finding him a new home

Personality:

Thomas is a wonderful cat who appreciates being rescued and having a soft bed and people
to love him. He is gentle and sweet, gets along with the other cats just fine, and is quite
affectionate. Thomas likes to curl up with you on the couch or bed, he is quite the snuggler,
good company and purrs deeply with contentment. He is playful and carefree as well,
interested in checking out new toys and where that little red dot went to. He is a charmer,
and will rub up against your legs easily. Thomas is ready to be adopted into his forever
home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
