Rescue:

Buddy is an awesome cat and has always had a life where he was much loved. He was
lucky and did not find himself as an adult living on the streets without shelter or food, he
was in a family home that loved him and took care of him. This home had parents and
children, but they also had a lot of other cats. Many cats. It is unknown if he was originally
born in the house, rescued as a kitten or found as a stray. But on this day, a decision had
been made that they just could not keep all the cats that they had acquired. Buddy needed
a new home. Looking at the big picture, it is easy to bring a cat into the house and help
them adjust to family life, but the challenge is to realize that sometimes we can’t keep them
all. This is where we have to think with our head and not our heart, and know that it is for
the good of the cat. Soon afterwards Buddy was brought into Pet Patrol care.

Personality:

Buddy is that cat and he is pretty amazing. He is a great family cat and likes to be picked
up and cuddled. Being in your arms is just second nature for him, and he is very appreciative
of a cuddle, or just to curl up for a snooze. He is playful and active with the other cats,
and interested in what they are doing. Having been in a home with other cats, this is nothing
new to him and he fits in easily. He is very entertaining and happy to scamper up the
cat tree to look out the window, dart across the room after the laser pen light and dive
through the kitty tunnel. He is a great cat. Buddy is ready to be adopted into his forever
home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
