Rescue:
Chapman has lived in a loving home for over four years. He has had his
owners all to himself until a new baby was introduced to the family in
the spring. Chapman found living with a baby to be very difficult,
becoming stressed by the crying and the new change of pace the baby and
family created. His owners have observed Chapman with toddlers and
noticed that he disliked being cornered and was not hesitant to display
his displeasure. With having a small home, a lack of space and
anticipating a mobile toddler soon his owners had to find a new home for
their beloved cat. No one in their immediate sphere of friends and family were able to take him on, so they turned to Pet Patrol
Personality:
Chapman is a handsome, affectionate, and social cat. He loves to be
where people are. If he can’t have everyone he loves in one place he
will make his rounds from room to room visiting everyone. When he is
tired he tends to find a spot closest to the maximum amount of people to
plop down for a snooze. When you are watching TV he will sit and use
your feet as a pillow. He is playful on occasion but much prefers the
quiet life. He enjoys sitting and watching out the window. Despite this,
he seems indifferent to the outside world, he has never been a flight
risk. Chapman would do great in a loving home with mature residents
(adults or children above 12 years old) and will be a joy to be around.
He is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome
him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
