ADOPTION PROFILE

Doris

Doris

Doris

Rescue:

Pet Patrol was called to a neighbouring farm where they said they just had too many cats
right now; more than what they needed. The woman asked if we would like to have some. In
the past we have taken kittens from there who were a little weak and in bad need of good
nutrition. The food was very low grade which didn’t help. When we found the little D kittens
they were wandering freely around the tidy farm. They would lay under bushes in the heat of
the day, retreat into the barn at night for safety and lay on the cold concrete littered with
straw and manure. The family was very kind though and they gave the cats affection and
attention. Destiny, Dipper, Dahlia and Dallas soon came into Pet Patrol. They were in good
health and very sweet natured.

Personality:

Doris is a sweet and somewhat docile little kitten. She is easy to handle, quiet and loves to
sit on your lap and purr. She is great with her people and quite affectionate. She is quite attached to
her brother Dallas. He is an explorer who is always alert. He is very playful and active,
wanting to see what is in every nook and cranny. He is a cuddly boy and will curl up on your
lap for a nap. Dallas and Doris seek each other out, wanting to know where the other is, for
play and nap time. They were the last two to be rescued and have bonded over that adventure.
Doris is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her and
her brother Dallas into the family and keep them safely indoors.
