Rescue:
One of Pet Patrol’s newest volunteers was ready and waiting to foster her first litter of
kittens. She had the room all set up for them, purchased the litter box, food, toys and kitty
bed etc. and was just waiting for the kittens to come into our care. Then one day, she and
her family were out on a day trip and as they were driving down the road they noticed
something along the ditch. It was orange. It was not litter. It was two little kittens. The
volunteer was quite surprised and concerned for the little ones, and they immediately pulled
over to the side of the road. It took a little bit for the kittens to come to the people. They
were terribly frightened and it was obvious that they had been abandoned in the ditch. They
were quite thin and bedraggled looking. Once safely in the car, they immediately took them
home and called Pet Patrol for assistance
Personality:
Simba and Doobie have thrived in their foster home and are happy go lucky kittens. They
enjoy their family and the other cat in the house. They are playful boys who love to start
games of Tag and Indy 500 throughout the house. Not only is it good exercise for them but
entertaining for the children as well. Simba and Doobie are lovely and affectionate kittens
who are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the
family and keep the safely indoors
