Rescue:
A couple who run a cat rescue in another city, brought a friendly adult cat into our care. After
settling him in, and having a tour of the sanctuary, they left for the hour and a half drive
home. Within a few minutes, they called and said they had stopped at the local variety
store and found a little black and white kitten, Patty. She was laying on the bench, in the
heat of the day and seemingly lethargic. She was dirty and thin, obviously in need of help.
This store is right on the corner, and very close to a busy intersection. No place for a wee
one like this to be alone and hungry. She was homeless. Quickly she was scooped up and
to Pet Patrol where she has charmed everyone who meets her.
Personality:
Wonderful, sweet, loving, gentle and affectionate. Patty is all of these. She loves to be
picked up and carried around, she doesn’t mind being cradled like a baby either. Her purr is
immediate and she smiles with every pet and ear scratch. She is an unassuming kitten who
has adapted easily to her new surroundings. Patty is fun loving and playful, and ready to be
adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her
safely indoors
