Rescue:
Joey was born to a wonderful mother cat named Precious. She is such a pretty little cat
who found herself on a farm. She was not born there; she was a surprise. One day one of
the children was heading outside to play and there was Precious laying on a patio chair all
curled up until she saw him. She jumped up, started to purr and was very happy to see a
person. She was welcome to stay in the barn, but they already had house cats and were
not looking for any more. Precious made herself at home there, but they knew she always
wanted to be inside. In the spring she had a litter of kittens (Joey being one of them), because
she was not spayed. She was brought indoors then. She had her kittens in a safe
place, with the love of the family around here. Not wanting to put her back outside again,
fearing she would get pregnant again, the family reached out to Pet Patrol to find her an
indoor home. She has since been adopted. It was difficult for them to see Joey go, and
they kept him for a few more weeks before he came to Pet Patrol.
Personality:
Joey is a sweet kitten with polka dot toe pads and a spotted nose. He is a little ball of energy
who loves running, jumping, and creates brave adventures through every corner of the
house. When he plays, he can jump a meter high, but often gets distracted chasing his own
tail. When he wants to relax, he likes to be cradled like a baby and carried around the
house. Such a sweet boy. Joey also loves to be next to people and will be your best friend,
and he likes to have other fur friends too. He would do well with a buddy. Joey is
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safely indoors.
