Ginny

Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a call from an elderly woman who was living on her own. She had noticed
a mother cat and her three kittens outside in her backyard. The kittens were quite
small and frightened of the big wild world out there. But the mom kept them safe underneath
the garden shed, only allowing them out to play at dawn and dusk. The woman called Pet
Patrol at that time and we arranged to provide her with a humane trap so that she could set
it up and rescue the kittens. One of our volunteers who lives close to her offered to help. But
as time went on and no kittens were brought into our care, the woman confided that the
mother cat had disappeared and within a few days so did the little ones. She kept a lookout
and two weeks later we received a call that one kitten had returned. It was on the back
deck looking for food. Seeing this the woman quickly put a dish of kibble out and it ate
ravenously. Baby number two and baby number three soon followed and they were all
brought into Pet Patrol care.

Personality:

Ginny is the tiny one of the litter who loves attention. She is happy when being pet and will
walk up to you with her tail high, and just stand at your feet waiting for the love. She also is
very playful and will chase the feather toy as much as her brother and sister do. Though
she isn’t as reckless about it when she leaps and lands, she still is fast. Ginny is grateful for
being in a happy foster home and will look up at you with complete love in her eyes. She is
gentle and dainty and likes to cuddle up to her siblings and people. She is ready to be
adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her
safely indoors..
