Rescue:

Pet Patrol works with a few small rescue organizations and one of them is in a rural area.
The intake of cats and kittens is high and adoptions are ok, but they tend to overflow with
abandoned cats pretty quickly. We were contacted about this wonderful boy who appeared
on a farm property. It may seem a good idea to place a cat on a farm thinking they will
have a care free life, but it is quite the opposite. Other cats on the property are not always
accommodating and in the case of Magic this was true. The other cats there did not welcome
this newly abandoned house cat. He was naive, healthy looking and investigating his
new world. But in a short period of time he looked a bit ragged and thin because the other
cats were running him off. They were aggressive with him at meal time, and he was left
with nothing, and they would attack him when in their sight. The farm owner recognized this
and called the small rescue group who soon brought him into Pet Patrol care.

Personality:

Magic is a very affectionate boy, loving lots of scratches and pets. He likes nothing more
than to curl up in your lap or stretch out beside you as you read a book or watch TV. He
has the most amazing eyes that focus right in on you when you are in the room. He has
been around other cats but may prefer to be the sole focus of your attention. He is a quiet
boy but enthusiastic about cat toys that have a little catnip to get his attention and what cat
doesn’t like the laser! He is a born observer and wants a furever home that has nice window
view so he can watch the birds and squirrels outside. Magic is ready to be adopted
into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
