Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a call from one of our volunteers who also works at a local pet food
store. She lives in a small village about 20 minutes from the sanctuary and one day her
neighbour approached her about two adult cats he had, both females, who where living
under his deck. Both cats were very friendly and affectionate and also had produced a litter
of kittens each, just about a month before. That totaled eight kittens and two adults. He
was not wanting to have a colony of cats and was looking for a place for the mother cats to
raise their kittens and find homes for them all. Within a few days one of the mother cats
was brought to Pet Patrol care with two kittens (Kane and Koko) and before dusk the other
two little ones (Kali and Kailee) were reunited with them. Happy little kitty family. The rescue
of the other mom continues but she has hidden her litter quite well. Soon she will be
rescued with her little feline family

Personality:

Kali and her brother Kane are very sweet and gentle kittens but also quite active and playful.
Kane is a feisty little guy and he loves to run around chasing toys and plays Hide and Seek
with his sister. He is also cuddly and likes to be in the arms of his foster parents. Happy to
be held and happy to purr loudly. Kali is a little shy and she looks forward to her treats and
interactive playing with her people. She will often hid under something only to pop out and
jump on her brother and take off. The kitten chase is on! Kane and Kali would like to be
adopted together in to their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and
keep them safely indoors
