Rescue:
A young woman and her boyfriend were driving home one night from a day at the beach. It
had been a sweltering hot day and they took a shaded country road home. In the headlights
they caught sight of something in the middle of the road. At first they thought it was a discarded
coffee cup. No! It was two wee kittens huddled together! They immediately pulled
over and stopped the car, then they heard more mewing. They searched in the ditch and
found three more siblings. The couple kept looking, and satisfied there were no more, they
left for home. With five tiny frightened, but active, kittens in the car it soon became apparent
that a cat carrier would have helped. But instead, they had a picnic basket which worked
just fine. Once home they reached out to Pet Patrol and soon the kittens came into our care
Personality:
Ruffles, the only little girl in the litter is very dainty. She started out shy at first but has soon
become very social. She is very affectionate and gives kisses and nose rubs, she loves to
sleep and snuggle with her foster mom at night. She is just as playful and outgoing as her
brothers, but would prefer not to rough house like they do. She is a girly girl for sure. Her
favorite toys are playing with the dangling toys from the wand with her foster mom, chasing
bouncy ball or those that crinkle and a cardboard box goes a long way. This pretty kitten is
ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and
keep her safely indoors
