Rescue:

While out for a walk one spring day, we came across a lonely kitten sitting underneath a
portable building. Unsure about what to do, we contacted our friends who had a great deal
of experience and were familiar with Pet Patrol. We set out to find mamma (Sugar) and her
babies. We also learned from neighbours that mom had been around the neighbourhood
for about a year. She seemed to be okay with people but had obviously been neglected
and eventually let go. After earning a bit of trust with mom, we eventually discovered where
the kittens were hiding and managed to rescued mom and her little feline family, Molassas,
Muffin, Maple and Meringue. Mom was spayed and has made her way to the Pet Patrol
sanctuary where she can relax and enjoy her life.

Personality:

Molasses received her name for being the slowest to discover her new world of the litter.
She sat curled up on a soft bed and would often watch from there as her siblings played
and frolicked around. She enjoys snuggling with her siblings and is now much better at
snuggling with her humans. While she may be the sleepiest of the litter, she comes out
strong with lots of energy when she is ready to play. Molasses is quite attached to her
brother Meringue, and it would be nice for them to be adopted together in their forever
home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
