Pebbles

Pebbles

Pebbles

Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a call from an elderly woman who was quite distressed. It seems that
her daughter was evicted from her apartment and didn’t know what to do with her seven
female cats. As a last resort, she put them in a large dog cage and took them to her parents’
apartment. The woman was in her late 70’s and her husband in his 80’s, the cats were
not spayed yet and no funds available to have that done. Local shelters were called and
messages left with cat rescue organizations, until they finally found Pet Patrol. They were
quickly picked up and brought into our care. One was adopted (Pebbles) before leaving the
apartment and the daughter’s most favourite cat stayed with her parents. Lilo, Skittles,
Sabri, Boots and Olive quickly made themselves at home in the sanctuary, Fast for a few
months and Pet Patrol received a call from the daughter/original owner. The person who
took Pebbles was unable to keep her now and needed Pet Patrol to help reunite the cats.
As soon as transportation was arranged this pretty kitty came into our care as well.

Personality:

Pebbles is a sister to Sabri and cousin to the other cats from this colony. She has shown
us right away that she is just as friendly and affectionate as the others kitties, and we know
she will be adopted quickly. Such a nice cat. Pebbles is quite outgoing and affectionate, she
greets people easily and is happy to sit on your lap. She is quite playful and has discovered
the kitty perch in the window, a favourite spot to check out the happenings of the neighbourhood.
Pebbles is ready to be adopted together into her forever home. One that will welcome
her into the family and keep her safely indoors
