Rescue:

Cinnamon, Clove and Cardamom were rescued from a residential back yard. A young couple
called Pet Patrol to say they had noticed a mother cat living under their back shed. She would
go in and out of there all the time, and they thought someone was feeding her because she
had a big belly. She disappeared for three days and when she emerged she was quite thin.
She had given birth to her kittens. It took about five weeks for the babies to start coming out
and the couple reached out to Pet Patrol for help. They were asked to feed the cats and
watch to see exactly how many kittens were there, as sometimes the smallest one will take its
time coming out of hiding. Three were spotted and by this time the mother had disappeared.
She was never seen again. The kittens went into the humane trap to eat, and the door was
closed, from there they were taken into the care of one of Pet Patrol’s foster homes.

Personality:

Although all the kittens were unsure of people, being indoors and “what is all this petting
about?”, they have come along beautifully. Cinnamon is the most timid of her siblings but with
a little patience, she really comes out of her shell. As soon as she’s warmed up to new visitors,
she shows her curious and affectionate side. She loves it when you show her brightly coloured
objects, or give her a chance to smell something new. Always learning, her foster family calls
her an ‘old soul’. Of course, she still loves to play with her siblings, and can be found running
around and chasing toys in the middle of the day. Cinnamon is ready to be adopted into her
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family, hopefully with a sibling or playmate,
and keep her safely indoors.
