Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a woman, who was calling for a person she met
through kijiji. Seems that the young man who had Mimi had originally found her on the
street, and felt badly for her because she seemed so sad, thin and very much wanting to
come inside the house. He lived in a typical neighbourhood with cookie cutter houses, nice
lawns and private back yards, so it is a mystery where Mimi originally came from. He
started feeding her right away, gained this little cat’s trust and then she walked right into his
home. He wasn’t too sure if she was spayed or not, but with good nutrition, her pregnancy
blossomed and she soon gave birth to a healthy litter of kittens. The woman who contacted
us had adopted two of the kittens from him and in conversation he said he couldn`t keep
Mimi due to allergies. It is unfortunate because he really liked her. Soon this pretty little cat
came into our care and is now ready to be adopted.

Personality:

Mimi is a lovely little cat, slim, petite and very happy to be with people. She purrs and
chirps when she wants attention and will rub up against your legs for affection. It has been
fun to watch her play and chase after toys, she loves the wand toys and cat nip of course.
Mimi does well with her people and visitors as well, makes herself at home and is quite
content to be indoors. She is ready to be adopted into her forever home, one
that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors
