Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a call from a woman up north. She could not find a rescue organization to take in this lovely cat who just showed up in her little village. Piper, as she was named later, was just wondering around, seeming lost and very uncertain of her surroundings. She was a bit skittish at first, which is understandable. Piper was brought inside and since the woman had two dogs that do not like cats, she could only hold onto her a short while. She did take Piper to the vet to check for a microchip, but there was none. Advertisements were put out in the surrounding areas, and a search of lost and found pet sites was checked daily for weeks. No one was missing poor Piper. It is assumed she was dumped. Now in Pet Patrol care she is ready to be adopted.

Personality:

Well, what can we tell you about this pretty girl. She would probably do best in a home where there is only one other laid back cat or as an only kitty. We are unsure of how she would do with dogs, but the calico in her says she will be the Queen of the house soon enough. She loves her people, being pet, brushed, cuddled and cooed to. She is playful and will chase after just about anything. Piper seems like a really nice cat who found herself with no resources or the ability to figure it out herself. She was an indoor cat before, and shall be again. Piper is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
