Rescue:

Astra’s journey to safety began during one of the harshest ice storms of the season. A woman
sitting inside her home heard a strange, repetitive sound outside. Investigating, she found Astra, shivering, soaked, and having just given birth to three tiny kittens. She quickly gathered the fragile
little family inside, setting them up in a cardboard box and later moving them into a closet for
warmth. Unsure what to do, the woman posted on a local social media group for help. Sadly, many
of the responses suggested giving them to farms as mousers or worse, to people looking to profit
off the kittens. Knowing Astra’s sweet and trusting nature, volunteers rushed to step in before they
could fall into unsafe hands. Thanks to quick action and teamwork, Astra and her babies were
rescued just in time. Now safe in Pet Patrol’s care, Astra no longer has to struggle to survive, and
her kittens are growing up knowing only love, comfort, and kindness.

Personality:

Astra is an affectionate and vocal girl who knows exactly how to win your heart. She loves being
petted, happily curling up on your lap or stretching out beside you for cozy chin and belly scratches.
If the attention stops, even for a moment, she’ll let out a sweet chirp or meow to remind you she’s
still there! Astra is playful and curious, especially fond of chasing strings and rolling balls across the
floor. She’s also shown interest in other cats and may enjoy a gentle feline companion, though her
current housemate isn’t quite as enthusiastic.
Astra is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and
keep her safely indoors.
