A woman reached out to Pet Patrol about a petite brown tabby cat who needed a home. She owns a farm that cares for rescued horses, ones that are deemed undesirable at the local animal auction, and she rehabilitates them. They become happier, healthier and more secure while in her care. She was approached by an acquaintance who needed a place for this little cat, now named Trinket, and her kittens (Toodles, Tatertot, TinkerBell and Tizzy). Since the woman was in the market for barn cats, she thought it was a good fit until she saw how young the babies were. It was late fall, the barn was damp and cold and there was no place warm for them to be. Sure enough they all came down with colds. In young or unhealthy cats a cold can quickly create severe congestion, they can’t smell their food, become malnourished and it can turn into pneumonia. She tried her best to accommodate this feline family, but as her vacation time approached she knew they needed to be some place warm and comforting. Soon they were in Pet Patrol’s care received medication and have thrived in their nurturing foster home.

TinkerBell is our little adventurer, she is a tabby with the most beautiful striped belly. She is the smallest of her siblings, but what she lacks in size she makes up for in character. She always runs up to us when she sees us, and is often trying to make her escape to venture around our house and explore. She is very curious and an absolute delight and looks you right in the eyes, melting your heart. She also loves dogs!! TinkerBell is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
